1) Who lived at Arden House? I can only find Shakespeares grand parents and that seems a bit tenuous. No hint on number of letters
2) What was Lowry's house number in Stalybridge St, Mottram. I can only find that it was called Elm House.
Any help much appreciated :o)

Thanks torgy, but I need the number of the place on Stalybridge St. Apparently it has a blue plaque, but the number is hard to find - for me anyway!

2 the elms 23 Stalybridge ROAD is still there hope its the one you need
mary arden ,mother of william shakespeare lived at arden house on the outskirts of stratford on avon
Mary Arden's House is always known as just that - Mary Arden's House (or Farm, sometimes). I think Dr Finlay is right.
