Dreamland electric blanket - red light flashing, no heat

We have a Dreamland double heated mattress cover dual controlled and one side wont warm up and the heat setting panel light continuously flashes red. Any ideas on what is wrong? TIA

Visit the Dreamland website, if it is quite a new one I believe some have been recalled because of a fault, could be wrong, but a friend told me some had.

I had a electric under blanket with the same problem, contacted the maker and they replaced it free of charge. They didn't want the old one returned.
