Most of the UK will come to a standstill tomorrow, schools will be closed, railways not working, people wont be able to get to work etc, etc because we have a few inches of snow, yet other countries are prepared and have much worse!!!

omg I just read Glenis' post and crept to the window it is deep enough in sunny Bucks too the kids were praying for a snow day . Evenin' all, first time I have been able to bust onto the site in an age! Good grief Rabitty I would have expedition quality supplies just incase I got stranded ...

Pasta - just a few strides from the food hall. Just have to get someone to mind the store while I pop down.

Velvetee - there was a big clap of thunder during a snowy report on the 10 pm BBC news. Don't know where for sure, possibly Kent.

I'm afraid you won't get any snow pink....it is warmer there than it is here....most unusual!!

ah thats a pity pasta i was there a couple of years ago when the snow was really bad and it was awesome. Last year we went end of Jan and had only a little snow
