Allegedly because he fails to meet the Home Office's 'good character' test, due his (alleged) involvement in the 'cash for questions' scandal.

There's a reasonable summary of both sides of the issue here:

Chris
He'll get one when he's released from Guantanamo Bay, along with the rest of the Muslim terrorists. They'll be given a hero's welcome and allowed to continue as before, preaching hate and death to all Londoners. Ken Livingstone will probably be there to greet him. You couldn't make it up!
... but didn't you just do exactly that?
Ironic to read that Neil Hamilton thinks he should be deported - pots and kettles, I think.
Gourmander, I find your post contradictory and confusing. Only a day or two ago you said this.

Well said keyplus. I've noticed how you prove the Muslim haters wrong every time. They never seem to learn, they'll be back tomorrow with more made up lies. You must remain vigilant. England has become a very dangerous country for foreigners.
I've always wondered this as well.

Perhaps the question should read

"Can anybody tell me the reason why Al Fayed is still refused a British Passport when they normally dole them out like confetti to any old Sergei, Okowamabutti or Al Nasarani"!!!

Yes I know Al Fayed has been shown to be a swivel eyed lunatic over the whole Dodi/Diana thing, but let's not forget the contribution he has made to the country.

He should have bribed Mandelson like the Hindujas did in order to get their passports.
A mystery I've never fathomed. Any old rubbish can get one but Not this Man who adds to our society.
Because he can't satisfactorily explain how he got his money:

Perhaps the question should be - "Why wasn't he deported years ago?"
-- answer removed --
In my opinion he should be deported and all his ill gotten gains seized.
He is disrespectful of this country and if he had a UK passport we couldn't deport him.
