How do I stop my cat using my lawn for his main toilet? The cat pellets and scent off stuff isn't working and I want my children to enjoy the garden in the summer, just as much as I want my perfect lawn back as I am a very keen gardener. HELP!!! I don't have a rifle and do love my cat though!

Keep cat indoors for two weeks with a litter tray, and then move the litter outdoors. Hopefully he will continue to use it.

Otherwise anything you do to stop him soiling your garden will result in the cat soiling your neighbour's.

Bad enough when it's your own cat. When it's someone else's stopping you enjoying your garden, it's blood boiling.
Have it put down
You could try this plant. I'm not sure how effective it is, or how far its effect will reach, but it might be OK.
