MP3 Car Stereo

I know nothing about cars or car stereos but want to buy an MP3/CD car stereo for my partner for his birthday for around �100. I don't have time to search all day (and don't understand what I'm looking at anyway!) - can anyone suggest a good bargain? Thanks! (The car is a M reg VW Golf GTI if that makes a difference!)

Or you could alway's buy an mp3 player and a cassette adapter for a car and play it that way then you have the best off both worlds
