Has anyone had a good or bad experience of Second Life? Also, is it safe to use?

My friend uses it all the time and loves it. Just follow the rules for internet use - no personal info etc. and you'll be just fine.

It doesn't take 60 seconds to type a quick thank you. Mine wasn't the most useful answer because I don't use the site myself (my laptop isn't powerful enough for the graphics), but it's the only blimin answer they're getting LOL.

LOL, my mate that plays it says there ARE some areas where the characters can get pornographic, but there are equally areas where it is not.
