my 6 month old kitten Rocky is being castrated today. I am really nervous for him and hope he gets on ok. I will be a nervous wreck I think until we get the call from the vet to collect him.

but I think I am suffering, hes the one going through it, did anyone else feel like this when they had their cat done. I dont remember being so worried when we had the old cat done, I guess worrying comes with having kids and age.

wish him luck everyone please.

thank you

Awww, I felt the same way when my babies were going in for the snip. It's the anaesthetic part that had me worrying more than anything.

He'll be just fine, sweetheart. While he's away, take yourself to the supermarket and buy him a tin of tuna as a little coming home prezzie.

So Rocky's losing his rocks?
Ouch!
He'll be ok x
Good luck from me Jan :) xx

He'll be fine but I know what you mean, I hate it when my cats have had to have anything done. I'm sure I don't have to tell you to spoil him when he gets back
xx
Awww afcjan , it's natural for you to worry , you love your kitty and we don't like to see our pets going through ops . I remember how I felt when my labrador was spayed years ago , and soon the puppy Jack Russell will be getting neutered and I'll be worrying the same . It will be fine sweetie xxxxx
Hi Rocky. Hope all goes well. We have both had the op, and it wasn't too bad. When you get home, play it for all the cuddles you can get from mum Jan. We'll be thinking of you/ Felix and Frankie/

murphy had some teeth out a while ago and i was a complete wreck all day, i think i seriously irritated the receptionist as i kept ringing for 'progress reports' lol. and then of course murphy milked it for all she was worth for the next week.......
LOL Mccfluff! (I seem to be laughing at you a lot today hehe).

I wish receptionist would just accept the fact that our animals are our babies and stop huffing when we worry about them.
I am sure Kitty will be ok.and I know what you mean but vets are so good .The thing that really upsets me is when you have to leave them the expression on there faces as if you are not coming back for them .No matter how much you tell them you will be back I wonder if they do understand.
Good luck to Rocky and dont forget the cuddles when he comes home.. xxx
Hi Jan, hope Rocky's soon back home & enjoying lots of pampering after his op. Our Milly was fine after a few days. Take care. -xx-
