My husband has a current court order in place originally taken out before April 2003 which was varied in May 2004.
He has applied for a variance to the court due to a decrease in earnings and the judge has mentioned that this could be referred to the CSA under the new rules.

We have looked at the CSA website and it seems unclear whether this is correct ! Does the date of variance replace the original court order date?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, the courts have no power over Child Maintenance issues. You will be better off to negotiate and settle this out of court/CSA as CSA does not give all the money that they deduct to you.

You might stand to loose!
