I don't know about carriers, but I suspect they can only give you a quote until you contact them and give them full details of the dog(size)when and wto where you are going etc.
However,If I am telling you what you already know I apologise.
Australia has strict regulations on the import of (pet) animals. This link will tell you all you need to know, and how much it will cost you.It looks as if your dog will be in Quarantine for 30 days on arrival, but have a look at the site/form for full details:~

If you click on the PDF form link it will explain more.
However,I should warn you it is long AND complicated,AND it looks as if all the necessary qualifications for Import of your dog needs to be arranged well in advance of travel to Australia.
Not sure about the rules and regs to Australia, but I do know a friend who emigrated there around 12 months ago. The dog still had to go into quarantine for three months (not sure why?). It cost her around 1500, including the quarantine for a similar sized dog to a staffie.
A couple of things you may want to consider.

Aussie laws are a lot stricter pertaining to pets.
Rules will vary from state to state.
You'll need to have your dog certified as to its breed.
Even if there is no ban in owning a breed, there may be a ban on import and even breeding.
