There's one which is normally showed before sporting programmes, with a lod of rugby players shouting a tune, and they're all wearing a red and black striped kit. Does anyone know who these men are? I mean, are they an actual rugby team or are they just some men taken from auditions??

Thanks x

They are performing the Haka but not sure if they are the genuine New Zealand Rugby Team.

They're doing the Moari wardance, the Haka. I think they're all proper rugby players. The lead guy, Joseph Hutley, is a genuine Maori, but the rest are Welsh. If you look at http://thetvroom.com/p-bbc-one-2002-a.shtml there's a bit about each of the BBC1 idents and if you scroll down there's also a news story about reaction to the Haka one.
