I'm torn between the jolly storyline, and fun setting ...

It's quite fun, but the singing is painfully appalling.
thats ok after a few drinks we will be singing a long lol
I'd watch anything filmed on a Greek island, even The Magus. The thing that got me about this one was [SPOILER ALERT] two of the pairing-offs at the end were totally unprepared for.

But yes, Brosnan's singing skills have been widely noticed.

Was The Magus a movie ???

I loved the book, but haven't seen a film. I would have thought it would be difficult to adapt into a film.

'If I had to live my life over again I'd do everything exactly the same except I wouldn't go to see The Magus' - Woody Allen. On the whole I agree, though I normally like Michael Caine.

hello Jayne :o)

I thought the lousy singing was part of the charm. if they were good singers it would have been painful, in my opinion.

You may be right, Sassy x
yes, I think sara is right, the film's got 'karaoke appeal' - everyone can sing Abba songs, however badly. I also love the story, about grown-up women being not entirely responsible. I mean, you can imagine the headlines in the Mail: Woman doesn't know who father of baby is!!! Only the film isn't in the least outraged about it all.
