I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this please - would there be a noticeable difference between a steam cleaner that is 700 watts and one that is 900 watts? I am thinking of those hand-held steam cleaners that seem to be very popular at the moment.

The 700 watt version would take longer to heat up

Do you think it taking longer to heat up would be the only difference? I am wondering if the steam jet would be more powerful with a 900 watt .

If the only difference between the two is the power rating, then the only difference should be that the 900 W will deliver more steam in the same time, which might make the cleaning process faster.
