What is the best way to find who is visiting your website? I have a program to download and analyse logfiles but can't make sense of the data as sometimes it seems to say that someone has been on the site for 19 hours?! (I do know the IP number of my computer so I can eliminate that).

I use a counter which I d/l from statcounter.com - It can be added to your pages and used in hidden mode. It's a free to use piece of code up to certain levels. Check out the site.

Should also mention you can check the entry path and lots of other info from the data gathered.
