Chuck - talking about having to speak to someone in India for your internet problem reminded me of this:

I had (until very recently) two phone lines. One used exclusively for calls and one for broadband connection.

When I had a problem on the broadband line they said an engineer would have to call me (on my phone line) to carry out a test and this would happen within 48hrs.

48hrs passed so I called them, Yes they said most indignant we tried to call three times. No you haven't I said. Anyway after much tooing and froing, turns out they were calling my broadband line!!!

God it would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating and normal these days!!
