I agree also, but for some reason, i prefer the American version of the first Ring film. If you want a truly great horror from the same Japanese folks, try Dark Water, absolutely brilliant. Also liked the American version of The Grudge as well.

Hello there i just seen the Ring 2 (american version) tonight WOW! it was great the ending blew me away iam in love with these movies and would love some answers about what goes on in the movies! So if you know anything let me know. This movie was AWESOME!!!!!!

The English translation of the novel is now available (The Ring by Koji Suzuki). It's worth reading as it gives you a greater insight into the film.
