I knew you were joking about having it on the wall, nono. I just wondered how long you've been posting on AB, 'cos I got the feeling you started posting on CB round about the same time as me.

Puss, I don't think it's any achievement, just something to chat about, this being Chatterbank, and all that.

Very good! <Crosses Elvis off Christmas card list>

TCL, did ya look that up somewhere? Thanks, btw.
I had a trawl through ma previous answers and found that. I'm sure I've also said who posted the question (or answer.) From memory, it was a short name and it had a number possibly 1 at the end of it
Hi again mrs.c. I joined AB in April or May 2000. Can't remember the name of the first poster, Im almost certain it never appeared on our screens in those days There were 3 of us working and believe it or not, we had dictionaries and magazines of every description, to help with our answers. The www didn't always come to our aid. We were like a new radio station ready to go on air, with the excitement mounting, waiting for that first question. It was definitely a music one, that's why I was given the first chance to answer, because of my knowledge of the subject. After that, the questions came in thick and fast, so it became impossible to remember much about them.
Hope this little bit of history has helped.
Andy.
The Mona Lisa question was definitely the first question because when the questions were still able to be viewed I put in question1 in the address and that is what came up so even though there may have been multiple questions, that was question number 1.

It did help, thanks Andy. And thanks to TCL, and everyone else who posted a reply.
