I want to change the spark plugs on my X Reg (2001) VW Polo 1.4E but Halfords want me to part with over �55 for a set !  Why ? Are they gold plated or something ?

Thanks for the info, Zen. This company lists the plugs at over �14 each !. Obviously not expected to change them every year ?

mdoo88. Thanks, mate. The new Haynes manual for this model has just been published and having checked it the service interval for plugs is 40000 so you were spot on. Only another 25000 to go !  Cheers. derekpara
