noisy when i let off the gas

I have a 2001 durango, when i am accelerating or just driving at a constant speed, there is no problem.....BUT, when i am, say, on the interstate and let off the gas, i hear a loud, low sounding noise. also, when i am in town driving, as i let off the gas and slow down to stop, the same noise starts and the car shakes a little. any idea? please help!! thanks

Hard to tell, on the info given but try first checking out the exhaust,maybe the noise and vibration is coming from there.
