Hello :)

How is everyone this ruddy freezing saturday night?

Apart from having to get up at silly o'clock on a Saturday morning had a fab day in Brum with my parents, brother and his girlfriend.

Their Christmas markets are fantastic though it was so rammed it was madness in the main bit of town.

What's everyone else been up to?

a visit to the Christmas market is a must isn't it!! The whole atmosphere is so Christmassy! Must try the Giuewien this time! Did you have any jen? xxx

I had some last night.

I got everyone from work over for Friday night drinks over there and we had some gorgeous gluwein and a bratwurst.

The Birmingham markets are great though, was really impressed going today. Didn't eat there though, went to this fab posh sausage and mash place which was lovely.

The city centre was manic though, sooo many people out!

Hiya Jen....

I don't do Christmas, so I don't have this problem of avoiding the crowds.. I simply don't go anywhere near the city centre at this time of year. I had my hair done this morning, yep it looks fantastic again (as per norm.... my hairdresser is wonderful and can create magic). I am having a rare Saturday evening in for a change, I really did not fancy going to see Evita at the theatre so I opted for a ratatouille, couscous and white zinfandel at home. My girls are happy, well fed and snoozing away... the little one has one leg sticking out at a funny angle but looks so contented that I don't want to disturb her. I get a lie-in tomorrow morning which is a lovely feeling... but I suspect I will not get brekkie in bed ... hehe

lol Puddi... I have already made a ratatouille (with no rats, honest) and spicy couscous,,, so no room for the veggie black pudding !

hey baby sis, sounds like you're getting into the Christmas spirit! I've done all my shopping.. woo hooo!

my daughter (your niece) is at her first party with alcohol involved. I'm waiting for a text when she wants picking up.. I hope she's been sensible. I'm sure she has been :o)

Evening jen honey , I've just finished dinner and am sat watching the xfactor lot crucify Take That songs . The dish washer is working in the background , snow is falling outside , and the dogs are asleep by the fire . xxxxx

It was so cold out today am wondering if we are going to get some :)

Am so lovely and cosy and warm now and Dr Who and Torchwood on so very happy :)

Yuk snow ! I don't like it now , too slippery , and , being on a main road , too dirty sludgy . It's pretty to look at but very impracticle . xxx

Hi everyone
Not a nice evening out there. Not snowing here thank goodness but cold and windy. We usually have a Christmas market in Southampton but I haven't been in to check it out yet. I will have to go and do some Christmas shopping but I don't like crowds of people. Cats are fast asleep upstairs - Daisy has the sulks as she fetched in a mouse earlier and I wouldn't let her eat it
