Can anyone help me with this?

I need to construct an electrical device which has 2 bulbs, 4 switches and one battery. It should work as follows:

Switch A or B will light bulb A
Switch C or D will light buld B

Pointers or better still, a circuit diagram would be much appreciated.

Wire 1 goes from the battery positive to one side of switch A. Wire 2 goes from the same side of switch A to one side of switch B. Wire 3 goes from the other side of switch B to the other side of switch A. Wire 4 goes from the other side of switch A (where wire 3 goes to) to a terminal on bulb A. Wire 5 goes from the other terminal on bulb A to the battery negative.
Switches C and D, and bulb B are wired exactly the same way.

This is the wiring diagram. The construction I described above will not look the same, physically, but will work the same.
Okay, so the wiring diagram didn't come out right.

Thanks Skids, the description worked just fine. It looks complicated when I draw it out, because switches A and C are together, and B and D are together, but I think I'll cope!

Are you a lab technician in secondary education by any chance, phl666 ?  ;o)

But I'm sure you worked it out from skids explanation.

ok want to make it interesting try this: http://img202.exs.cx/img202/38/pict00017vw.jpg

this is how you control a light from two different points like having a light switch next to your bed and at the door so you walk in the room turn the light on at the door get into bed (without killing yourself when tripping on something in the dark) and then turn the light(s) out when u r safely in bed
