Limiting folder size

I need to limit the size of a folder on the c:\ (windows 2000) for backup purposes, the only way I can think of doing it is to partition the drive, but this would be too time consuming, any suggestions would be great

Set a quota for all users. However, this might only be possible for the whole partition rather than just a folder.

Yeah, this isnt possible for folders just disks which is why partition would work but would be too time consuming
