I've just heard Sir Lord Cliff Richards on my radio singing Batchelor Boy.  I must admit it sent a shudder down my spine as I realised all these years later he has been true to his word ans still is one.  Do you know of any other songsters who take their lyrics so serioulsy?

Is Sir Cliff a 'confirmed batchelor'. Maybe Sue can shed some light on that

You may be confusing Bachelor (Cliff also gets upset if you put a 'T' in it) with Virgin.  Sue could shed some light as to whether he remained a virgin while he was dating her, but if he is living alone, then he is indeed a bachelor (whether or not he is still a virgin).
