Ever since in downloaded & installed XP Service Pack 3, my DVD/CD drive won't recognise anything.

Anyone know how to fix it?

how exactly
pc not showing drive - or showing but not reading?

probably best thing to try first go to device manager - find the CD/DVD drive and remove it.

reboot and see what happens
