Worst thing that happened to you this week?

Mine were:
1. Someone gave me a box of choccies & Mr O scoffed all the soft centres, grrrr.
2. Eldest Junior Overall raided my wardrobe for a Goth outfit & trashed my best black top.

Oh carrust, I know how you feel.
Mr O bought me a cashmere cardi last Xmas and it now looks like a sieve. I was gutted.

I cried because my boyfriend is going away for 3 months in January and I realised how much I was going to miss him!

Gonna be a bad day tomorrow. Been invited to a wedding and have got to go clothes shopping with the missus(as she's got nowt to wear) She's going for the full house...shoes, dress coat etc
It's going to be a long day....sigh....

I feel mean now for moaning about a few chocolates going missing.
CAJ1, I hope the 3 months passes quickly.

carrust - it's part of your duties as a loyal husband to sit patiently outside changing rooms, carry the bags, tell you wife her bum does NOT look big in that dress, and treat her to lunch.

This is beyond the call of duty....anyone got any coping strategies. Don't mind one piece of clothing, but this is the lot.

1. Limit your conversation to "Yes, dear"
2. Don't offer any preference if shown two dresses, two pairs of shoes etc because whatever happens, you will always be in the wrong
3. Don't say you are bored, tired, hungry etc.
4. Tell her she looks lovely
5. Grin & bear it.

I like watching other bored men being dragged around the shop, only showing any interest or embarrassment when she stops in the lingerie dept. :-)

Not had a good week ..the laptop (6 months old )
died so has gone for tlc ...so bought a cheapy as
not able to do things with out a pc ...went to visit
the old boy in the nursing home he had another fall ...
so when i went to the BS for the money for his fees
realised the DWP as still paying him all his benefits ..
I rang them weeks ago and all they do is pass the buck ..
also the SS have sent a huge bill which has to be paid
as the assessment was wrong !!!! Hopefully it will
get sorted before 2009 !!

i bought myself a box of mint matchmakers, thought i'd hidden them, went out and came back to find the BF had scoffed the lot and he still hasn't replaced them...........

1) just forked out 300 quid to have the car rewired
2) had a bad gallstone attack tuesday
3) son is having blood tests tomorrow morning

my weeks just getting worse. not only am i on nights this week, but my dad has just phoned to say my cousin has died of breast cancer. she was in her early thirties and a year older than me. i think life is a pile of crap...
