Thanks for the link.

There were some outside last night and my cat wasn't very happy bless him.

Funnily enough someone suggested the DAP Diffuser to me earlier.
Jenna - the DAP is for dogs... the one developed for cats is called Feliway.
Feliway is quite expensive, approx 21, but it lasts well, and more importantly, it does work. It's also very good for spraying into the corners of a cat carrier to settle nervous cats who don't like going to the vets.

Hi no.knowledge, i just meant good to anyone concerned about their pets...
i know how the fireworks frighten pets, and i know people who lost their beloved pets due to nights like these...
I found this link helpful, and as you can see Schutzengel said its about 21 for Feliway - on this link you can get it for 12.99!
Well I have tried the dep and goodness knows what else but to no avail.Perhaps it's because my dogs are terriers and they might be more hypo.Nothing has worked , I could get them doped up but do not like the idea and because they are elderly don't think it's fair on them.Loud telly , distractions and comfort seems to be the only answer for mine as regards the cats two go upstairs in hiding and one goes behind the settee..g
we stand at the back door with our dogs and watch the fireworks, they are not worried or frightened at all.

I beleive that if you give off the emotions that they should be afraid or anxiety then the dogs will pick up on it and then they will stress out.

the cats hide but then they hide at everything !!
