hi caz i had wooden floors all over my house and if you have animals they slip all over the place and scracth it and kids love slidding on it.l think it looks better than carpets and its cleaner where as carpets get carpet mites living in it.

why not be different and use sand? or water ,imagine the delight of friends dodging the middle which you've cunningly filed with goldfish/coy carp/giant squid!

i had wood it was a pain saw every mark on it ..i have slate now best thing ever
