I just told someone I like them, but they do not share the same feelings, what should I do? (I can't stop thinking about the person)

Maybe it wasn't meant to be!

Is this person into you?

You can't force someone to like you!

he said he likes me but he also said he doesn't..i don't understand. this person is messed at times.( and i want more peopl to answer).........i need help.

Accept defeat and move on.  You can't force someone to fall in love with you.  Things might be awkward for a wee while, but it's better than the alternatives (hiding from them completely or constantly trying to get them to reconsider).  If this person is a friend, you never know, you might someday find your feelings returned, until then try not to brood over it, especially in their company and have fun with other people.  Don't let it knock your confidence.  Keep your dignity and don't pine over them.  Good luck!

morrisonker, this person is always giving me signes that he likes me, and even after i told the preson..he still looks at me as if he likes me. this person has a bad rep.i mean he is nice to people just the preson's schoolwork is bad.......... and he is a year older then me........i am his friend and all but.......i think i will take ur advice and move on..thanks.
Just continue to be friendly and don't be embarrassed - it could work out one day.
Foxy.....this person sounds like they're playing games with you and stringing you along.  Can only agree with other answers.....move on and forget him.  I think you wanted us to tell you that it'll be OK and to go for it, but it won't.  He's not into you enough, or he wouldn't muck you about, end of story. Oh, and if you find someone else, don't be surprised if Mr Muck-u-about gets interested again.  Don't be fooled, he'll be playing games again (cos he sounds a bit immature for someone a year older than you).
move on girl. dont waste your time waiting, wanting and hurting...you could be missing out of the real love of your life who could be just round the corner....

as the author of that book says - he's just not that into you..... And it doesn't sound like this is a bad thing.... You deserve much better.... and you don't deserve someone who plays games with you (they're the worst, trust me on this!!).... Now, cheer up, chin up, give yourself a facial, get some seriously fabulous shoes cos there's a better bloke coming along!!! :-)

(every woman needs more shoes.....!!)

Hi Foxyroxy, It's always crappy when you put your feelings out there (that takes guts) It hasn't worked out the way you wanted. But for now, try to keep busy and have your freinds and family around you, for company, they don't need to know the in's and out's of the situation. In a while you'll stop having such intensive thoughts about that person (that's a promise) and you'll be glad it didn't consume you for too long.  Remember - We're here for a good time not a long time. xxx
