Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

It is generally considered bad form to just give the answers to the Listener crosswords - but for a beginner, as I was many years ago I reckon some help is in order.
I hope that you have a Chamber's Dictionary (preferable the 2003 edition for the next few weeks). If you don't have a Chamber's I doubt that you will find the answers in many if any other dictionaries.

You will find the answer to 5down on Page 31
18ac The first letter is not s . British island stands for bi inside a word for soft.
45ac is on page 43.

Since I don't consider it bad form to just give answers to Listener crosswords - for the simple reason that Listenerites don't consider it bad form to provide answers to any other prize crosswords - 45A is a French phrase, ame damnee. That's een (even) made (forced) ma (mum) backwards and means a blindly devoted person.
