Hi Folks,
Not sure if i am in the right section here for this question but i assume it will be legal. I want to change my name back to my birth parents name, however i did not live with them, as i was brought up by someone else therefore took on their name instead. Can i go back to my original birth parents name ?

i'd have thought you should be able to by deed poll, try citizans advise & or lawyer
Was your name ever legally changed to the name of the family who brought you up? If not then you are perfectly entitled to revert to the name on your birth certficate without needing to change it officially. If it was changed legally then you may need to change it back by deed poll.
whatever name is on your birthcert is your legal name. Where you adopted or fostered? If yiu were adopted your adoptive parents name is your legal one otherwise your biological parents name is your legal one
