on winmx, im searching say a queen song..i press in queen , search then i get thousands of "available" downloads..all mainly on dsl, cable, t1 or t3 but when i go to download the one i want it never works..only way i can get the songs is to join one already in a queue..seems like these are the only genuine ones..anyone had same problem?..or can anyone cure....ive reinstalled/uninstalled 10 times now but still not working...problems been here for a month plus now.cheers

uninstall winmx and use limewire instead

re above reply: I never understood this, why should performance be different if they're all available on the same GNU network?

Apparently bearshare works even better.

One reason Limewire, eDonkey is better - as soon as you start to download a file, the partially downloaded file is immediately available for others to upload.
