Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading on WinMX. Mine worked fine a few das ago.. then I found mp3's I was looking for but they don't download so I end up with loads of incomplete files. I downloaded the newest version but that didnt cure it, and have gone through everything, primary or secondary connection, etc, etc. Do you think it's the ISP blocking? My zone alarm allows WInMX to connect to the internet and act as a server.

Maybe time to try another download site possibly? I always found Winmx to be painfully slow, and have been much happier with other sites, but none more so than Limewire which was recommended on this site.

try edonkey or kdrive there both the same server...there fast for me but depends on yor broadband connx
I use Ares, Winmx did this to me, i think it is the ISP doing it's nasty work lol, or if your behind a router it bodges it up. Rich.
I agree with dave m...I use edonkey and have had no probs!

I guess it must be my ISP from hell (Tiscali) that won't let me download using WinMX. Strange though as ppl could upload from me.

DO NOT TOUCH GROGSTER.. FULL OF ADWARE & SPYWARE .. took me ages to rid it off my pc.

I now have LIMEWIRE and have no problems downloading.. only thing is a lot of the mp3's are only 128 bitrate, I use 160 or 192.

Has anyone had problems with 'Kazaa' ? Personally i wouldn't touch it again with a barge pole as long as the great wall of china !!
