mobile phone battery life

can someone please tell me whether battery life is significantly reduced in low cloud weather conditions

on the contrary  i find mine gets a better signal with cloud as so theoretically the battery last longer ! although fog will probably block it a bit and reduce battery and perhaps damp weather but don't give it much head
