We redirected our mail from our previous address about 3 mths ago. but since then many of our mails have still been sent to the address, and almost all of the new occupant's mails have been redirected to us, including some that are belonging to other addresses in our old area. We have complained and since, our mails have not been going to our previous address, but the new occupants' mails are still coming to us. Any suggestions on what we can do?

we had a very similar problem with mail redirection - we complained to Royal Mail at least 6 or 7 times & were continuously fobbed off (on the occasions we actually got a reply).  In the end we contacted ********* (just write to FREEPOST *********) who were very good.  They responded within a couple of weeks & almost immediately the redirection started to work properly.  We're still battling for a satisfactory response to all our missing mail from the Royal Mail but at least we're getting what we should be now.

A little tip - we started to send test letters (some handwritten, some typed, posted from different locations) to see what mail would turn up.  None of them did...

hmmm... didn't expect that to be censored.  The first half of the censored word was Post, the second half was watch

stoopid - it's because that word contains another within - read the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th letters! The ABFilter is rather over-zealous!

Don't hold your breath...

We had a similar situation, and apparently although yu are a paying customer and they are (supposedly) providing a service that you are paying for, it is not actually guaranteed and there's little or no comeback if it goes wrong.

Perhaps it's just because your postman is a tw@t
