Copy a dvd to my computers Hard Disk?

I own a few dvd's and want them on my computers hard disk so i can watch them whenever?

can anyone tell me how to do this please?

xilisoft software is very good. also look on www.download.com. this a safe sight imho with goo reviews and plenty of free software.
