How did you kill Mplayer 9?I No uninstall anywhere. I got 7.1 here in a zip waiting to come back to its spot but mplayer 9 squishes it if I try install.. If I sold you a TV, and then I came in your house everyday and started changing the channels and fiddling with the contrast, you'd say Oy! xyzzy, No! So why should Bast Gates be allowed to screw my XP os everytime? Like he owns the damn thing (he does? What did I buy then? a Trojan Horse?) Oy! Gates, No!

Are you running a version of Windows that has system restore? Can you restore to a point before you installed MP9? Have seen several discussions at www.pcmag.com in the forums asking the same questions and no one seems to know of another way to get rid of it. It seems like another case of you can only run your system the way Billy wants you to. Geoff
and windows is only going to get worse. time to "switch" and fall in love with Uncle Steve's OS
You're in the minority there snotters: and I'm a Mac owner/user myself!

No, Aussiegeoff, I left it too late for restore, 3 weeks is a long time when your an 'improver', heck, a day is. What I will probably try to do, is re-associate my media files with an independent player; not winamp, Irfanview can run quite a few. Hi snot, how you doin? is that wozzer's osx? it free?
Seen my new stopmo on abook?
Aaahhh to kill mplayer9 is a long task....you must first find the lost Jemstone of Krong which you must then take to the Old Wizard who lives in the caves beyong Oorteng..he will then trade this for the Magic Sword of Leng with which you'll finally be able to end your quest and slay the mighty Bill of Gates which will defeat his minions like mplayer9, MSN messenger and all the others...Good luck!
