I have broken the molded aerial connector that goes into the back of my car cd player. How do I go about fixing it? The centre pin on the plug stayed in the cd player as I pulled the plug off.

Would a co-axle plug fit that would go into my tv?

I would remove the cd player and see but i have bodged it on to get average signal and i don't want to lose it!

Its a vauxhall corsa and its the standard hu if this helps.

Buy new aerial and replace...

Or for the bodge that will work, buy cheap new aerial cut the plug off the end leaving about 30cm of wire, strip wire and join to wire of existing aerial and insulate with tape.
Maplins probably sell a new plug. They`re not difficult to fit. To remove the player one normally has to remove 4 allen or torx grub screws & then use a pair of audio unit removal forks.
