Do you have any info on the car? the Reg, colour, Last owner If you have any of these there is a site you can go on called search this car reg.

Although this site doesn't tell you where the car is it does tell you if it is still taxed or if not when the tax last ran out and therefore if the car is still in use. Click on vehicle enquiry then next and enter the registration and vehicle make.
