A clue please (after all still 2 months to go) to number 1)
Note, say, hte insects' nervous sign.

I normally find questions 1 and 100 fairly easy, but annoyingly stuck on this one.

The only sign I can see that fits is Saggitarius and I can't think why it should be that.

What symptom do you get if you're feeling very nervous, say before an exam or visit to the dentist. In the stomach area

No help but I have arrived at exactly the same point - I cannot see how Saggitarius fits the clue.

Other thoughts - does nervous signify an anagram of a single letter note (a, b, c, etc) plus "the" plus "insects" - but I cannot make that work either?
Question Author
ok FoxyLee get that, but where does the Note come in?
Thank you - the penny has dropped. Back to the last ten.
You two are making this so much more difficult than it is. Forget sign, that's the least important part of the question. Just think of a common, pretty, insect that in the plural has 11 letters.
Musical note B

Say - utter
Note in the musical octave
The Note is 'B', say is utter followed by an insect.
Badger4 - have you done 65? I've got the second word Moth but have spent ages trying to get the first part. Any clues please?
Question Author
65) what flooring has a pile?
Foxlee Could you now confirm that unusually the second answer word for Number 65 is the same word for the second answer word for clue 59 ?? Thanks
Yes, it would appear to be the same. I knew there was a carpet beetle, didn't know there was a carpet moth but how does it answer the 3 months' prison sentence?
Foxlee Check with Cambers !
Foxlee Sorry ! Check with Chambers
Thank you Magic 1 - you learn something new every day!
Sorry for the delay - I've been off line. Yes - I agree that the word carpet appears in both.
Question Author
I hadn't noticed the word appearing twice. I suppose one is the first word and one the second.
You might learn something new every day FoxLee, but will you remember!
