I used to live here, and moved away three years ago. I've only been back 3 times since. I spent most of my childhood here, but I don't really know what to make of the place. what does anyone else who know the area think?

As an outside observer: A wealthy, middle-class, leafy and pleasant home-counties commuter town surrounded by extremely nice Surrey countryside. I don't know whether there's anything to do there in the way of entertainment, but I doubt it.

I would agree with that. I've come to the conclusion that it's a nice place to place to live if you have a lot of responsibility, i.e. kids, mortgage, well-paid and stressful job in London. I suppose many towns in the home counties are pretty similiar.
