Lil & I played french skippy all the time.... until we graduated to french kissing ;-)

French skippy involved lots of elastic bands tied together which we jumped over as our friends held it higher & higher.

Cruel b*tches used to higher it deliberately sometimes, to either throttle the girls they didn't like, or to see them splayed across the playground flashing off their navy blue knickers.

I've just asked my two youngest granddaughters (aged 8 & 5 years).

They said the girls play - hopscotch, french skipping, Mr. Wolf & kiss chase!

They said the boys play football, bulldog, but hate kiss chase! ;o)

good question, sadly the answer is "NO".
kids these days dont know how to interact. they seem to have lost the knowledge of having fun.
