i have a client that has not paid there depts for 6 years . can i start court action agains them or is it to late

If the debt has been acknowledged by them within six years then you can. Check through all the correspondence you have as quickly as you can to see if you have anything that will help you.
Start court action now. They may acknowledge the debt.

It's not cut and dried. Have they written to you, phoned you or contacted you in any way over the past 6 years? If they have it is not too late.

Have you been unable to contact them because they have moved and not informed you of the new address?

If that is the case, it is not too late.
