I have a One World explorer ticket and have the choice of flying from London to Bangkok with British Airways or Qantas. Which offers the best service, as in more leg room and wider choice of movies?

Be aware that they sometimes operate each other's flights - you can get a Qantas aircraft operating a BA flight and vice versa.

I'd say there was next to nothing to choose between them.
Having travelled quite a bit in my life, to & fro Dubai, I avoid BA whenever possible, unless flying club or 1st, I personally find they treat the economy class traveller with contempt, everything is too much trouble, but if you fly club, my what a difference in attitude. I am not the ony one who thinks this, on a BA flight to the Caribbean, a work colleague shouted out "my friend told me I would be ignored and I didnt believe her, but I do now.".
I have travelled BA to the caribbean with no problems regarding the staff.

My only gripe is the leg room and I am a short person, so you're constantly fidgeting and trying to flex your legs to ward of the conset of cramp.
I flew to Australia via Bangkok with Qantas and thought it was excellent. The entertainment was fantastic as were the staff and even the food was good for airline food. I flew back the same route but had a BA plane/service and it was awful. Food was ok but entertainment was rubbish. I was struggling to find anything decent to watch and staff seemed like it was an effort to look after us. Def prefer and recommend Qantas. I can't remember what was best for leg room but I always ask for an aisle seat if poss so I can stretch my legs out and get up without the hassle of asking everyone to move!
