OMG,

I thought David Essex singing was terrible today.
Why do these stars of yesterday keep trying to be young, they should leave their singing for the bathroom.

I dont think he was that good back in the day, his fame was mainly based on him being a girlie pin up

Hi Rtaxron, he's never been a 'singer' as such, but he has presence & he's not a bad actor either. He still has a loyal fan base. I went to see him in concert in the 70s! He's got a naughty twinkle in his eye!

He has put on a few pounds, grey hair with a goatee and shouts when he is trying to sing.
