I have a Sony portable mini disc player which came with Sony Music Jukebox accepting .omg files.

I hate this program!! So I normally use Windows Media Player to play my mp3's. I would like to copy mp3's from WMedia to my mini disc player without having to go through the process of converting them through the Music Jukebox program.  I have a USB connection into the mini disc player, but WMedia never recognises it as a "portable" device.  Any suggestions or it is just chalk and cheese!!!

You're right, OpenMG is awful.

I can't remember the exact way I did it, but I agree I hate OpenMG. I created audio disc images on my PC from MP3's, mounted them then transferred them to the MiniDisc with (I think) SimpleBurner.

Was a LOT more reliable and much quicker.
