I've been with AB under various guises virtually since its inception but I've noticed recently a tendency to leave very large gaps of white space within answers.

So large in fact that when one comes across one it gives the impression that nothing follows. Can something be done about this nonsensical, very annoying and pointless practice?

It's just attention seeking disruption by some social inadequate with a very low IQ
Ed cannot do anything about it.
Ban the user responsible, and every time he does it under a new name.
Of course they can.
The web designer can soon insert a bit of code that deletes blank lines after the "submit" button is hit.

Just replace any double (or triple) line breaks with a single one. Do this until there are no more double line breaks.
Lew I agree it is annoying (I've just read your post on another thread) I only do it to one individual to make a point.
Do you forgive me?

Beautifully described there !
The web designer can soon insert a bit of code that deletes blank lines after the "submit" button is hit.

the code is already there and used to delete multiple spaces, it just need repeating with a minor modification
Can the AB web designer delete the blank space in some ABers minds, as well, I wonder?

There is absolutely no 'reason' for the poster leaving those spaces other than to set out to annoy people which in my opinion is extremely childish behaviour. I ignore him and his threads however I understand how it must get on peoples nerves when he comes in and ruins a perfectly good thread with his idiotic spacing.
