1. The Curious incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon;

2. The Gremlins;

3. Five - Devil's Snare; Flying Keys; Giant chessmen; Troll; Potions.  Six, if you count getting past Fluffy (3-headed dog) in the first place;

4. Waterlilies;

5. The Muggle-Wumps;

6. Linton Heathcliff is Catherine Earnshaw's nephew by marriage (Catherine marries Edgar Linton; Edgar's sister Isabella marries Heathcliff; their son is called Linton).  However Linton Heathcliff is Catherine LINTON's husband (Catherine Earnshaw's daughter).  Pretty incestuous, huh?

7. In Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter Book 2), we travel back 50 years and Voldemort is 16.  Therefore he is 66 at the time of CoS.  So by (the time of) The Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter Book 5), he should be 69.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I got question 6 the wrong way round: Catherine Earnshaw is therefore Linton's AUNT by marriage (or if they mean Catherine Linton, then it's his WIFE).
