Q. Name the sovereign's personal flag. I have found an image of this, but can't find the name. It has a blue background with a gold E below a crown, encircled by a ring of flowers. please could anyone give a clue to the flags name? thankyou.

The Royal standar is completely differnt to the Queens personal standard

The flag showing the "E" is the Personal Flag of Queen Elizabeth II she is the Sovereign so it is her personal flag as the Sovereign. If you think about it, would King Charles have an "E" on his flag? The Sovereign's personal flag is the Royal Standard.

That is what I'm on about. The Royal Standard is ANY</> Sovereign's personal flag but the blue one wi the encircled "E"is the Queen's personal flag.

If the question asked for the current sovereign's personal flag I would have agreed and said it was the blue one as you think it is.
