I was following the pack
all swallowed in their coats
with scarves of red tied 'round their throats
to keep their little heads
from fallin' in the snow
And I turned 'round and there you go
And, Michael, you would fall
and turn the white snow red as strawberries
in the summertime

and, Hi, noknowledge we meet again.
the last link was that I apologised to you, about the 13 year old boy looking for a job.
I think it refers to Napoleons retreat from Russia. The lost army etc.Napoleon actually deserted his troops at this time leaving them without food ,shelter ,or succuor and they froze or starved to death.A recent bbc programme showed up to 7,000 corpses found near or in Vilnius.
so johnny, do I get any stars?
My second guess would be a soldier talking about the Crimean offensive wild maybe but worth looking up.

so he's just playing with us then? everyone will have their own interpretation as to what it means. I thought it was a quiz and I was going to win something....like a ham sandwich or something.

my answer was a bit deep for a females view though dontcha think?
I was following the queue
all smothered in poo
with scarves of red, yellow and blue
to keep our little necks nice n warm
from feeling the cold whilst in my dorm
And I turned 'round with my head
Found Michaela Strachan, in my bed
and turned the white sheets round and round
to avoid the wet patch we had found
