I need to attempy to move my wisteria as we are redisigning our garden and have inherited a design we don't like. What is the best way to attempt to do this / best time of year?

I would do it late March/early April, when the sap starts to rise. Get as large a rootball as possible. Cut it down to about 3ft. Water well and continue to do so. Be prepared to lose it ! Good luck.
